DAVID S. HAZAMA

85, of Kaneohe, was called to eternal rest on April 13, 2019. He was born in Honolulu on Sept. 28, 1933 and grew up on Molokai’i. After graduating from Lahainaluna, he became a proud Marine, serving from 1952-1955. He saw combat in Korea with the 1st Marine Division.

He completed his BS at UH Manoa, then worked for the City and County of Honolulu, retiring in 1994.

David is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Cheryl; sons, Mitchell and Chad (Andrea); daughters, Chanda Ahokovi (Hessy), and Cherise Stalcup (Noah); and 7 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Kailua United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 1, 2019. Visitation: 4 pm, Service: 5 pm, Reception to follow.
