Senior Residence at Iwilei
1st Floor Commercial Space Interior Improvements

Pacific Housing Assistance Corporation is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified and licensed firms to provide architectural services for interior improvements of approximately 2,400 square feet of vacant, lofted space for the expansion of an existing, licensed, adult day care center on the first floor of the Senior Residence at Iwilei located at 888 Iwilei Road, Oahu, Hawaii (Tax Map Key 1-5-007:002). This project will be funded with a grant under the Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) program administered by the City and County of Honolulu. Compliance with all applicable City, State and Federal rules and regulations is required. The selected architectural team will be responsible for preparing plans and specifications, managing the construction bid process, obtaining all required building permits and approval from the State Disabilities and Communications Access Board (“DCAB”), and the implementation of federal labor standards provisions in accordance with Davis Bacon minimum wage requirements, including employee interviews. Applicants should have demonstrated experience and knowledge of Department of Health regulations relating to adult day care facilities, accessibility requirements, commercial projects, construction project management, City & County of Honolulu bid procedures and federal and state wage rates and labor standards as it pertains to federally funded projects. Time is of the essence. Qualified small and minority business firms, firms owned by women, and Section 3 firms are encouraged to apply. The selected firm will be required to provide Certificate of Vendor Compliance as a prerequisite for executing the contract.
