DRAFT FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT (FONSI)
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
AIRFIELD IMPROVEMENTS AND BUILDING DEMOLITION
MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII, KANEOHE BAY, OAHU, HAWAII

SUMMARY: Pursuant to the Council on Environmental Quality Regulations implementing the National Environmental Policy Act, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), provides notice that a Draft FONSI has been prepared, based on an Environmental Assessment (EA) for Airfield Improvements and Building Demolition at MCBH, Kaneohe Bay.

The Draft FONSI considers findings from the formal Section 106 consultation conducted pursuant to Title 36 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 800, Protection of Historic Properties, Section 106 Regulations, regarding potential impacts to cultural resources from the proposed demolition of historic facilities located near the base airfield.
